Very nice pics. I'm jealous of your new lens. The first pic is lovely. The color is very nice. The second pic looks just a tad bit too sharp. I think that may have affected your color also or I don't know if you did any color adjustment to it also. It looks a bit cool compared to the first shot. With flowers you don't want to oversharpen because you lose some of the soft, natural beauty of them. Hope this makes sense.
nice shots. i couldn't get myself to shoot flowers for my life... :( here's my cc - pic #1 is soft (obviously) and is because you have a very slow ss (1/60). try upping to at least 1/100+ if you're holding the camera (if under make sure it's steady on tripod, table, etc.) pic #2 is too sharp (as jenluvs2scrap mentioned). hey, it's cool. we're all here to learn, and the more you practice, the better you get at it. tfs!
I am a LDS Mom of two great kids who keep me on my toes! I have a fantastic husband Randy who is the love of my life. I love shopping, art, music, photography, sewing and being The Mom! I keep myself busy, but that is what keeps life exciting!!

Thanks for the CC, I didn't do a color adjustment, I don't have that on my version of PSE. I have been experimenting so I appreciate this so much.
